Before I even made my way to the stable, Max and I enjoyed the ever so rare sunshine. I stopped for a moment and saw more signs of Spring!
More birds deciding which new house to make their nests in this Spring
If you look real close you can see two birds who are considering this house
My husband cleaned out the nests from last Spring from all the boxes. he decide to let this one sit and be available for any bird that might want to use some of it for a new nest
The hens and roosters were having a lovely time out this morning:
After my mothers-to-be had their breakfast and after Frida & Emil had their time together, I raked up the stable floor and brought out all the straw and hay for the chicken yard
This little lady really enjoys scratching in the new piles of hay & straw
Little Topsy Turvy has fun when she finds a pile on the other side of the chicken house
That little Topsy Turvy wasn't alone for long
Even my fluffy Henny Penny hens really enjoy it when a new pile of (used) straw & hay comes into the yard
Our new rooster and one of his ladies also enjoyed the new piles
Mr. Bojangles and two of his ladies step out of their home onto their stairs to great the morning
Mr. Bojangles just has to tell the world "good morning!"
I like to check in my boys:
My boys resting in, as usual
Balder & Baby Boy
Emil our Rent-A-Buck enjoying a peaceful morning
It was a lovely Spring morning at Gullringstorp! I hope all my readers also had a lovely Spring morning to enjoy !
