Newly arrived crickets for Sidney and Tana.

They get delicious yummies before being fed to my girls. It’s called gut loading.

Good afternoon from Gullringstorp!
I’ve been so preoccupied with making sure that Thelma enjoyed time pecking in the grass. Her bottomless play pen can be moved to any place to offer a fresh patch of yummy grass.

Thelma also needs to have sand baths. Here she plays in the dirt with Max keeping guard.

What a beautiful day at Gullringstorp!

The boys got Whimzees all natural dog treats today. They got little alligators.

Max got his and started munching his immediately. Finn on the other hand had a quandary. “ok I have it, now what do I do with it?”

Decision made, hide it.

Safely tucked away, Finn tries to visit Sidney in her bath, but even though his alligator is hidden, he can’t relax.

Look at that little worried face!😊

Sidney’s Shed

The night was a time of more shedding for my girl Sidney. Her cloak has made its way down to her tail. Her tummy is also in the process of shedding.

She got misted several times throughout the day yesterday. Hopefully her morning bath will help with her shed.

Shedding will happen often until she reaches her optimum size as an adult. This is a good thing ad uncomfortable as it may be. It is a sign of good health and a great appetite. Sidney is growing quickly with her full diet of salad, crickets, Super Worms, Wax Worms and Mealworms. Exercise and sunshine also help her to be the healthiest she can be.

I love to catch my goats in such a relaxed beautiful state like this.

This is my little Tindra this morning.❤️

Good afternoon from Gullringstorp!
Tova enjoying a last grassy meal in the evening cool, last evening. She’s tiny and has a graceful long neck.

I love her❤️

My Girls in the Evening

When I go into the goat’s enclosure in the evening, first thing I do is walk to the farthest corner. The girls follow me and tne music.

There’s a method to my madness.

I am able to watch my girls run and walk. I can make sure there are no leg or hoof issues or anything else.

They run, leap in the air and have so much fun. Maybe they are trying to dance with their mommy. Whatever it is, it’s delightful to watch.

Sidney and Salad

Sidney is enjoying her salad. She’s had her morning bath and chatted with Pip, Finn and Max. She’s had her after bath a nap and cuddle.
Now she’s hungry. I am delighted to see her enjoying her salad. As a young Bearded Dragon, she eats both greens and live insects for her protein. When she becomes an adult, I will slowly phase out the insects and she will become mostly vegetarian.

I’ve read about owners having trouble with young dragons who refuse to eat veggies. That will be a problem when they get older.

I don’t offer her worms or crickets until she has eaten a good amount of her salad. When she’s done, she gives me a look like, “ok I’m ready for my worms 🐛 now mommy”😊

Eco-Friendly Sustainable Pet Bowls

Good afternoon from Gullringstorp!
I’m doing my part for our environment where ever I can here at Gullringstorp.

My business Li’l Sis Goat Milk Soap is Eco- Friendly.

The treats I now give Max and Finn are 100% natural making them Eco-Friendly.

I’ve found these great Eco-Friendly sustainable pet bowls made with bamboo and rice husks.

This product is also biodegradable!

Sidney gets the tiny Beco Bowl for her weekly treat of fresh fruit or worms. Today was melon.
