December 13th Saint Lucia’s Day in Sweden

Yesterday was the Saint Lucia celebration in Sweden. A beautiful tradition that dates back to St. Lucia who died a martyr in the year 304.

The first video shows Swedish people celebrating this special day in other countries.

  1. Question… why in some of the video are there guys with cone hats one. It didn’t explain about them in the video?

    • Hej from Sweden!
      The boys are known as “star boys” and there are stars on their hats that date back to medieval times.
