Li’l Sis Goat Milk Soap Donation

We have been very busy here at Li’l Sis Goat Milk Soap.  In addition to on-line sales through our website and re-orders through e-post, we are preparing for the holidays.

Amidst all the work, we finally have received photos of our Li’l Sis Goat Milk donation to a foundation called Appomense Hope for Africa Foundation, in Ghana. They do wonderful work with children and orphanages. I am very proud to be in partnership with this particular Foundation through Global Hand Organization.

They have all  been so very busy with many programs for the children. Finally they have made the distribution of all the soaps to the different orphanages.

Akwakwaa Nyameste Orphanage, which is located in the Central Region just to name one of several orphanages that received our donation.

I was so delighted to see the happy smiles on those cute little brown faces.

I plan to work more with this foundation to help where I can, which means more donations in the future.

Li’l Sis Goat Milk Soap is preparing another donation  through Global Hand  to the Philippines. There is much loss of not only life but of all ones worldly goods including personal care products. I hope that my Eco – Friendly 100% natural Li’l Sis Goat Milk Soaps will be welcomed.

Juliet

We have 4 wonderful, mischievous and funny cats here at
Gullringstorp. Two of our funniest cats are our Tuxedo cats. Not
only are the fun to observe, but they are so loving. One of our two
Tuxedo cats is Juliet. She loves to watch me clean and cook in the
kitchen. She relaxes on the sofa and enjoys all the activity. Make sure your volume is turned up to hear her enthusiastic purr. It’s the loudest of all our cats.

Good Evening from Gullringstorp !

Another cold day here at Gullringstorp. Our boys were out and they enjoyed their time out. Boy, did they need it.

All our goats will all be getting their dinner real soon and tucked in for the night.

I had a really moving moment in our stable today. When the girls are in, I make the time to spend time with each goat and give kisses and hugs. It’s also a time to feel each goat’s body and make sure each one is feeling well with no aches or uncomfortable places in the body.

While sitting with Pansy who holds a special place in my heart as does Keriana, I became overcome with emotion. You see, Keriana is Frida’s first baby born here 4 years ago and Pansy and her sister Poppy are her second set of twins born with us. We lost my first goat Frida and one of her daughters Poppy, to pneumonia. Poppy left a little buckling who has been adopted by Pansy. Little Huckleberry is just so cute and impish.

As I snuggled into his fluffy baby fur, I told him his grandmother Frida would have just loved him. I told him she would have kissed him everyday and made sure he was happy and safe.

Well, as I held him, felt his fur and smelled him, I just started crying. I couldn’t stop thinking of how I missed Frida and Huckleberry’s mother Poppy. Pansy’s daughter, Lilly tried to lick my tears away, wondering why I was making such unfamiliar sounds.

I miss our beautiful Frida every single day. I want never to forget her and her beautiful face .
Huckleberry really is her grandson and Pansy and Keriana are definitely her daughters.

Huckleberry explores the boy’s box and just like her mother Frida, Pansy keeps a close eye on him.

So sorry to all my followers that I have been away from my blog for a while.  A lot of travel for my business Li’l Sis Goat Milk Soap and very busy here at Gullringstorp. Our little herd was tucked into bed early this evening. We had an engagement with a very well know antique expert, Peder Lamm from Stockholm and often seen on Swedish TV.

We were invited to Peders Antik Rally!!! Sweden’s version of Antique Road Show.It was great to see some familiar faces and enjoy all the antiques that were brought in for evaluation. It was really interesting to hear all about the artifacts that were brought in from antique spoons, vases, containers, baby pram, art work and antique books. I learned not only about he object, but interesting Swedish history.

We were served a wonderful dinner of curry kyckling och potatis ( chicken curry with potatoes ) and a desert. We had a choice of sparkling water or öl (beer).

We had great company at out table and great conversation.
