Updates From the Maternity Ward at Gullringstorp 2013

With a bit of disappointment I must report that our little Iris did not have her babies last night. It just goes to show you, no matter how you may want babies to be born, they will always come when they are ready .

We checked Iris several times last night and again this morning. I can say that she is due quite soon, just when, only Mother Nature knows for certain.

We had yet another lovely Spring day and all our goats were out till nearly 8 pm this evening.

Here are our mothers-to-be :

  1. Oh how I envy you. I can just imagine your place once it warms up. The mom’s all happily grazing while all the little kids are running and jumping, joyously celebrating the coming of spring. Later in the day all the kids tuckered out from playing snuggle up to mom for an afternoon nap. Sounds wonderful! I will be praying that all the kids will be strong and healthy. God Bless!

    • Hej Godspoetbychoice!
Oh no, you will travel this journey with me. That’s why I blog, not just to share information but I hope to carry mr readers right along side me as I travel this journey. I will share every part of what is to come. It will be an absolute delight when those babies come.
It doesn’t matter how many births we have here at Gullringstorp, I always worry and with every contraction I pray it’s not too painful and that her babies come easy and healthy.
I will keep you posted, promise!
