Visitors at Gullringstorp

We are very happy and even encourage visitors to come to Gullringstorp. At any given time, we have all different sizes of West African Miniature Dairy goats. There seems to always be a handful of charming and cute new babies to look at and even play with. Feeding is always an option. If someone arrives at dinner time, they can help with hay, water and even grain. If it’s a goodie night, it’s fun to hand feed the yummy chunks of fruits or veggies. Sometimes it’s enough to just observe and giggle like our most recent visitor did!

Like right our of Mary Poppins, we have a chimney sweep ! He comes to not only check our chimney, but to make sure our wood burner in the wood room in  the basement is up to code. He has come several times since we bought Gullringstorp. He told us that he and his wife were thinking of adopting a child from Africa. Well we finally met her. She is beautiful.

Meet our visitors:

Our chimney man and his daughter arrived shortly after Toby's arrival

Our chimney man and his daughter arrived shortly after Toby’s birth

Our chimney man's daughter was brave and gave toby a little pat

Our chimney man’s daughter was brave and wanted to give Toby a little pat

I think our guest was telling my husband that Toby was nice

My husband and her daddy were reassuring her that Toby wouldn’t hurt her so she did pat him some more

Sevearl hours after our visitors left Gullringstorp, it was dinner time for Nanna and her son Toby

Several hours after our visitors left Gullringstorp, it was dinner time for Nanna and her son Toby

We hope our chimney man and his daughter had a good time at Gullringstorp and will return again and again!

    • Hej Shianwrites!
Yes she is cute. I think they are both happy, she and her new family. I just really enjoyed hearing her giggle.
