Little Miss Nanna’s Baby Gets a Name and a New Play Yard
Little Miss Nanna continues to be a really great mother. She can be a bit testy with us but I have been assured that this is normal. I have not had this experience with other mothers, but this is our first Pygmy birthing experience. We were told to give her as much time as she needs while continuing hands on with her new baby.
Little Miss Nanna has her name from Norse Mythology. She is a goddess and married to the God Balder. They had a son, only one and his name was Forste. This child became God’s highest judge and could solve all the god’s and human’s problems. According to they mythology, he lived in Glitner a castle with a silver roof and sparkling gold pillars.
I had already looked at this tiny fella and the name “Toby” came to me. I would have liked to keep the Norse mythology theme going but it has ended with Nanna and Balder.. This name and responsibility of Forste was just way to huge to fit on this little fella’s shoulders.
Please to introduce TOBY!!!
So for now, these two will be out with supervision. I really would not like for Nanna to bounce over the wall or even stand on . It could give our mini mountain goat some ideas. It was the first day in the new “baby play yard” and it was a success! Both Nanna and Toby enjoyed themselves.
We think that Keriana may deliver today. She seemed to be having contraction on the Milk Stand this morning. I go out to check her every 2 hrs.
Check back for updates!
